Participants will learn to design and use researched supported PowerPoint slides and activities to enhance learning and audience interactivity.

This workshop contains:
  • Peer Instruction with Audience Response Systems (Required; must complete for live session registration and admittance)
  • Using PowerPoint Effectively (Required; must complete for live session registration and admittance)
  • Research-Based Practices to Improve Your Didactic Presentations Live Session (Required)
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Apply the Assertion-Evidence model to designing PowerPoint slides for effective learning
  • Describe at least three methods for actively engaging all audience learners during a presentation
  • Evaluate the components of effective educational presentations
