Participants will learn and practice tools to improve their clinical teaching effectiveness, and work in teams to address common learner dilemmas in various clinical scenarios, including inpatient and outpatient settings.

This workshop contains:
  • Teaching in the Clinic and Hospital online module (Required; must complete for live session registration and admittance.)
  • A Toolbox for Effective Clinical Teaching Live Session (Required)
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Name 5 teaching techniques that can be used in the inpatient or outpatient setting
  • Demonstrate at least 1 method of teaching that can be used in any clinical environment
  • Describe 1 or more solutions to challenges in teaching
  • Commit to using 1 new teaching technique in your clinical teaching in the next month
