In this blended course, participants will learn about evaluation, the concept of feedback, the components which make it effective, as well as methods of delivering feedback in an effective manner. The pre-requisite for admission into the in-person session course requires completing "Providing Feedback to Your Learners," which is included with the live-session purchase.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • State the 6 best practices of giving feedback
  • Demonstrate effective practices of feedback using specificity, observations, timeliness, relevance
  • Perform one method of giving effective feedback (e.g. Feedback with Good Judgment [FGJ] method)
  • Identify one clinical/teaching venue where they can apply the practices/method mentioned above
